To get AST arrest records, submit a written public records request citing AS 40.25.100 to the Alaska State Troopers Records and Identification Section in Anchorage. Include the subject's name, approximate date, and a brief description of the incident. The agency will respond within 10 business days. Some records may be withheld if charges are still pending, as permitted under AS 12.62.

Inmate Custody and VINE Search
Inmates arrested in the Aleutians West Census Area are transported to state corrections facilities since there is no local borough jail. Most are held at the Anchorage Correctional Complex or another Department of Corrections facility based on classification.
